Why is Timber Frame Construction Better For a Shed?
Timber frame construction is the traditional and centuries-old wood construction method. The most important part of timber frame construction is the mortise and tenon joint. This interlocking joint gives timber framing its solid strength. Specifically, for sheds, this means that the timber frame construction provides a solid, protective, durable storage unity for your space. Timber frame sheds also have a beautiful aesthetic and are easy to construct. Choose a timber frame shed for a quick, gorgeous storage space that will last!

Can I Place a Timber Frame Shed on Bare Ground?
While placing a shed with or without a floor on bare dirt is possible, we highly recommend you don't. Placing a timber frame shed directly on the ground can cause the wood to rot and can expose the items inside to moisture as well. Placing a timber frame shed on a foundation ensures its security and that it is on a level surface and will not warp due to uneven surface and break over time.
