From start to finish Kevin was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and responds quickly to emails and calls. He listened to our thoughts and was able to incorporate some custom details that really made the gazebo match the house. The final product is extremely well made and was delivered as promised. Highly recommended,

From my first discussion with Kevin King to the time the installation crew drove away the process was seamless. My wife and I talked about putting up a gazebo in our yard. We discussed a do-it-yourself approach as well as a kit. After searching the internet for options Lancaster County Backyard was our choice. From the initial quote to the final install took less than a month. The final product, as you can see in the photo was even more than we expected. The price was great, workmanship top-notch, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking to add a structure to their home

I had two of the workers come to my house to install a cedar roof on my gazebo. They arrived at 7:00 am and worked all day long. I can say that these two workers were the hardest workers I have ever seen in my life. It was absolute perfection! I have pictures. You may also come to my home to see the job they did. Truly unbelievably beautiful. Thank you guys and God blessed you with such great talent. I already gave my neighbor your website and phone number.

We had been searching for a gazebo for months and found Pequea/Lancaster County backyard. The buying experience was first rate. Elmer showed us around their facility and was extremely helpful in selecting and customizing our gazebo and providing detailed information on site preparation. He was always available for my many questions and couldn’t have been friendlier or more cooperative. Delivery to our somewhat challenging site was handled easily by Ivan. The gazebo looks fantastic. We would highly recommend Pequea to anyone looking for a high quality, attractive gazebo,.

We are thrilled with the quality, fit and finish, and appearance of our new gazebo. It has been a pleasure working with you during the planning and delivery discussions. It was also great that you were flexible with our delivery date because dry and firm ground was absolutely essential to getting the unit in place.
I watched your Dad every step of the way during the on site handling and set up and he is amazing. The combination of the specialized equipment and the skill of Ivan were astounding to us. Very well done. We also appreciate the care with which Ivan handled the gazebo and completed the final leveling. All-in-all – fantastic!

The gazebo is beautiful, with lovely flourishes and rounded corners. It is sturdy (2×6 flooring), high-quality PT wood, and has a cupola that is like a cherry on top! I love it and will spend many a hot summer afternoon reading there. Sales staff was professional, appointment made promptly, and delivery was perfect (less than 2hrs to install). I camouflaged the 4×4 skids and landscaped around it. Price was right too! Most competitive on the market for my area. Life is good!

Elmer was the best; professional, courteous, and nice, nice, nice. Ivan delivered it and placed it on my pier pilings PERFECTLY!!! Again, a pleasure to do business with. I will be using them again. Thanks guys.

I initially discovered Pequea Storage Shed through an ad on Ebay. The style and size of gazebo presented there was exactly what I was looking for so I decided to contact your firm directly for a bit more information. All of my questions were answered completely and politely, giving me the confidence to place an order.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship and materials in our new gazebo. The level of detail is beyond what I expected and I’m confident that the robust nature of its construction will provide us a beautiful gazebo that will serve us well for many years.
Gazebos offered by other firms in my area were not of the quality as those sold by Pequea Storage Shed yet there were priced considerably higher.
Its hard to cite even one aspect of my transaction with your firm that was in any way unsatisfactory. From A to Z, you do things right.
As a businessman myself and after dealing with many other businesses and contractors over the years, I can truthfully say a transaction just doesn’t get any better than my gazebo purchase from Pequea. I got what I wanted, when it was promised, in a polite and professional manner, with no hassles. Three cheers for a job well done!

The gazebo that we bought from you is absolutely beautiful. We get compliments all the time from our friends and neighbors. Following your instructions, it was very easy to assemble. This is a top quality product. We are very pleased with it and will enjoy it for years to come.
I also wanted to let you know how impressed I was with how helpful and courteous your employees were when I picked up the gazebo. They went out of their way to ensure that the load was properly loaded and secured.
I cannot express how happy I am with my experience with your company. Outstanding customer service and quality.

I love my gazebo and so does everyone else. The friends who helped me unload it and ultimately helped me put the roof on commented on the construction and were also impressed by the design and ultimate durability.

I recently purchased a 12 X 16 vinyl gazebo from you. After 38 years as an Engineer and presently being retired, I find myself to be very detailed and selective when making purchases. Prior to purchasing the gazebo from you I had evaluated two other manufactures of gazebos in the state of Pennsylvania for structural integrity, durability and appearance. My conclusion was that your product met my expectations and exceeded the other manufacturers.
Please pass on my appreciation to everyone at Pequea. Also, extend a special thank you to Ivan King for his expertise in delivery and set-up of the gazebo. And to you, thank you for your customer service skills in communicating the details of your product and making my purchase easy.
Use our online quote form, or give us a call to discuss your project. Once we confirm your design, we produce an estimate for your approval.
Review and approve the estimate, and place your order with a down payment. You prepare your space as we prepare your structure.
Once your structure is ready, it's delivered to your property, and/or constructed on-site. You enjoy outdoor happiness and hosting like never before!
If you want a custom design or need to satisfy local zoning and permitting requirements, our advanced process may be required. This is typically required on structures of 200 square feet and larger.

Do you offer a DIY kit?
Depending on your requirements, we could produce a kit for your structure. We don’t recommend DIY kits for these structures, however, as the building requirements can be complicated. Our builders are fast, efficient, and experts in their field. Give us a try!
To what areas do you deliver?
Our delivery area for most Pavilions, Pergolas, and Gazebos is 200 miles of our home base in Lancaster County, Pensylvania. This radius allows us to reach into most of Pennsylvania, all of Maryland, Deleware, New Jersey, much of Virginia, New York, and Connecticut. We deliver large Pavilions nationwide across the contiguous United States.
Does vinyl cost much more than wood?
The extra expense of covering and constructing a vinyl structure makes it 20-40% more expensive than it’s wood counterparts.
Will I need a building permit for my gazebo?
Some areas require building permits for gazebos and others do not, so check with your local municipality if you have questions for your area. We have diagrams for gazebos that may be useful in the permitting process if you do find you need a permit (see gazebo specifications).
Do the skids stay in place below my gazebo?
The skids below the gazebo are used for transport. We can remove the skids during installation if requested at the time of purchase. The gazebo floor uses pressure-treated wood that is ready for ground contact so the skids are not needed to protect the gazebo floor.
Will you use blocks to level my gazebo?
We do not normally level a gazebo using blocks, though in some situations for smaller gazebos we can use blocks for leveling. Let us know in advance if you believe blocking may work for your situation. Three things apply in the event we agree to try to level your gazebo with blocks: (1) You will need to provide ample blocks and have them on site before the gazebo arrives, (2) you may need to pay extra for the time needed to block the gazebo, and (3) we will not return to reblock a gazebo that has settled after installation.
Can my gazebo be set on grass or do I need to prepare a site for the gazebo?
Grass areas are seldom level enough to set a gazebo without any preparation. The gazebo may be set on a concrete pad, patio, deck, or bed of crushed stone. A good way to prepare a foundation is to cut out 4″ to 6″ of sod and fill it with ¾” crushed stones. You will likely want to frame the pad with timbers if the ground is not level since you will then need to dig deeper at some places and may need to hold the stone in place on one of the sides. The foundation needs to be level for your gazebo to be level.
To help prepare your site you may want to check with Eli Stoltzfus at Bedrock Foundations (484-712-8828), Gid Stoltzfus at Better Built Pads (717-629-0968), Jake Lantz at Firm Foundations (717-629-0689), or for the Lansdale area only Larry Bergey (484-336-9481).
Do I have any choices besides kit on-site assembly if a fully assembled gazebo is too wide to get to my site?
Gazebos can sometimes be lifted into place with a crane if access to the location is too narrow. However, we do not supply a crane.
Can you build a gazebo in my yard or on my deck or patio if the standard delivery doesn’t work for me?
If space or ground conditions do not permit delivery of a fully assembled gazebo to your site or if you wish to build your own base instead of using our gazebo floor we can bring the gazebo as a kit instead and assemble it on location. A gazebo is built differently when we need to deliver a kit and the on-site labor is less efficient than building the gazebo at the shop so we need to charge more when we build a gazebo on site. Gazebos with no floor (you provide a deck or patio base) are always built on site. We can send a crew to build kits at your site hundreds of miles from Intercourse, Pennsylvania.
How do you get a gazebo into my yard?
The gazebo is normally assembled at the shop and brought to your location on a truck and trailer. The truck and trailer are then backed into your yard to the point where you want the gazebo, the trailer is tilted, and the gazebo is slid off the back of the trailer.
How do I figure gazebo delivery costs?
Use www.mapquest.com to determine the miles from Kinzers, Pennsylvania (zip 17535) to your address; use the “Shortest Time” setting under “Routing Options.” Then subtract twenty (20) miles from the total miles (first twenty miles free). Multiply the resulting number by $3.70 to get an approximate delivery charge. However, the actual charge may be different if the calculated route cannot be used due to a wide load, if escorts are needed, if out of state permits are needed, or the gazebo needs to be built on-site.
